Prayers

Prayer is one of the most sacred intimate acts that people find themselves engaged in each day. On the contrary, prayer is not only for the devout Christian. There is a large amount of people all over the globe that partake in prayer on a consistent basis, everyday even. The act of prayer usually stems in the belief in the existence of a God. People offer up prayers to God, in anticipation that these prayers will be heard at minimum. People pray because they want to say thank you to God for what He has done. They know that they have been blessed because of God showing up and moving in their lives, so they want to offer a prayer of thanks. There were times when they did not know what they were going to do when faced with one of life’s challenges, and they came to find that God had worked things out for them. The joy and appreciation that they are feeling is often translated into the words that are offered up to God in prayer.

People pray because they would like to ask God for advice. They are presented with a situation that they are not quite sure how to handle, and they know that the best way that they will be able to assess what action they should take is to pray. Many people speak to God in their prayers, and come to find that He speaks back to them. They find that the words of their prayers do not go unanswered. Even if God does not deliver his response to their prayer automatically, He is always consistent with showing them the way in a timely manner.

Prayers are known to change lives. People engage in prayers because there is something that they need that they know that they can only get from God. They know that only God is able to fully meet their needs. Prayer is a way that they can get that connection with God in order to move forward with the obstacles that they are currently facing in life. It is safe to say that prayers are not always as righteous as people would like to believe them to be when people are praying in order to ask for a blessing. Some of the prayers that are prayed are on the other hand, self-righteous, and lack ingenuity. With that being said, even when a person engages in a prayer, God always knows their true motives, intentions, as well as their hearts.
